Sixteen of Ireland’s funniest up and coming comedians have agreed to go mano a mano, in a comedic war of wits until there’s only one left standing. As ever it will be up to you, the audience, to decide on the ultimate winner.

This glorious victor, this latter day Apollo*, this sage amongst sages will walk away, no, strike that, will be carried aloft on a golden fleece** to echoing cheers and cries of huzzah! He*** shall be showered with the spoils of war**** and his name will echo through the ages*****

*    Strictly speaking, Apollo is a god of performance and dance and song....not comedy.

This show is hosted by Ireland’s funniest (and only) Kiwi comedian, Danny Dowling, who you may have seen recently win the Galway episode of TV3’s Come Dine With Me.
