Tim Minchin

Tim Minchin is a comedian, actor, composer, songwriter, pianist, musical director and huge rock n roll megastar. He recently toured with a 55 piece orchestra and somehow managed to connect the dots between stand-up and symphonic music to thrilling effect.
In 2005, he won the best newcomer award for his debut Edinburgh show. Loads more awards swiftly followed, resulting in a massively successful tour of the planet.
As well as performing to sell-out crowds around the world, Tim has written music and lyrics for RSC’s new production of Roald Dahl’s Matilda which opened to rave reviews last December. Tim’s very first visit to Galway will feature wildly teased hair, gently groomed eyebrows and unsurpassed musical comedy.
