Whose Line is it Anyway?

impro-dublin10-011

With Stephen Frost, Andy Smart, Steve Steen

& special guest Joe Rooney (Fr Ted / Killinaskully)

Four brave performers arrive on stage with no script and only the vaguest idea of what will happen. Willed on by a supportive crowd, through improvisation they create whole sketches and comic dramas that are amazingly inventive and regularly take off into flights of surreal brilliance.
The TV show of the same name, "Whose Line Is it Anyway?" is a pale imitation when compared to this live show.
The format is simple. The comedians improvise a full night of comedy based on audience suggestion. It’s mad, but that’s what comedy improv is all about and as Galway audiences know so well, it’s what the Whose Line Is It Anyway? gang - Stephen Frost, Andy Smart and Steve Steen - do so well.

This is adult comedy delivered childishly.  It is comedy without a safety net, it is guerrilla theatre and it is very very funny.
